We hope you're doing well and enjoying your summer.
The start of the 2021-2022 school year is a few weeks away, and as always, we're committed to providing you with the necessary information to plan accordingly. We have an update regarding transportation that affects many of our community families.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our Crane Transportation Department, our district will reinstate bus transportation routes to/from the Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) effective on the first day of school, July 28, 2021. These services were temporarily suspended last school year due to a shortage of bus drivers and staff.
Schools impacted by the updated transportation routes:
- Centennial Middle School
- Crane Middle School
- Gowan Science Academy
- H.L. Suverkrup Elementary School
- Ronald Reagan Elementary School
If your child(ren) will require transportation services for the upcoming school year, please submit an application for EACH child. All forms must be in by Monday, July 19th. Though we will process applications after that deadline, we encourage families to apply beforehand in order to receive a prompt response.
